Dun & Bradstreet continues to invest in artificial intelligence technologies to provide clients with the most advanced and effective solutions for risk management, marketing and enterprise data analytics.

In late 2023, D&B AI Labs was established as a transformation center for clients, providing the opportunity to jointly develop cutting-edge innovative solutions. The center combines expertise in AI, large language models (LLM) and machine learning (ML) with data, advanced analytics and D&B.

D&B AI Labs works with clients to develop, prototype, and implement solutions that help unlock the potential of Dun & Bradstreet data and analytics. One of the technologies the center uses is Google Cloud's Vertex AI generative AI platform.

Google Cloud AI is also used to support a new virtual agent designed to be implemented in solutions aimed at small businesses. The chatbot guides entrepreneurs through the stages of creating a new business, providing them with personalized recommendations for starting and managing their business. In particular, the chatbot can help them get a toll-free Dun & Bradstreet D-U-N-S® number.

In August 2024, the launch of solutions for the D&B Hoovers platform was announced: SmartMail AI and SmartSearch AI.

Hoovers SmartSearch AI is an interactive AI-powered chatbot that streamlines the process of creating targeted lists of companies. The system allows you to quickly and efficiently create lists that meet specified criteria, such as: geography, industry, company size and other parameters. Using machine learning algorithms, the system analyzes huge amounts of data to find the most relevant companies and contacts.

Hoovers SmartMail AI is a technology that enables automated sending of personalized messages to targeted contacts. The system generates emails tailored to the recipient’s individual preferences, including language (support for 19 languages), tone, and content, based on data about the contact and their interactions with the sender. The system uses AI algorithms to create engaging and effective messages that increase response rates.
